Guillermina Gandola

I was born in Argentina, in a small and beautiful city surrounded by hills called Tandil.

I started contemporary dance when I was 4 years old and I continued dancing till my 17. Thanks to that I live life like a dance in which I feel the flow but also understand my support points that maintain my body rooted.

After I finished my secondary school I moved to the main capital city (Buenos Aires) to study Social Communication. While I was studying, I began taking Circus classes and different types of dances (african, classical, and contemporary dance), disciplines that gave me knowledge of the body and that brought me tools for living a healthy life.  In 2011 I realised that my passion is teaching and sharing experiences and knowledge to people. So I started teaching aerial silk, trapeze and aerial hoop at different schools for children’s and adults. 

In 2012 I studied massage therapy and reflexology and in 2015, I got a degree in Integral Yoga Instructor from the International School of Integral Yoga.

Also, through that years I took different kind of courses as biomechanics orientated to Yoga, stretching for dancers, Indian chants, percussion, Reiki.

Since the beginning of 2015 I started to study Sense and Sound, a technique developed by Silvina Mazzola in which we study and apply the properties of sound in the human body to treat corporal and mental imbalances and energetic locks.

Nowadays I combine all the disciplines that I have learned (and that I continue learning and exploring) in my classes. My moto is to exercise and spread the mind and body to experience the nature of the being. When mind and body are synchronized you can experience the balance in daily life, but it is something that must be exercised. Thus, you can learn and experience different disciplines and methods but there is no secret ingredient than to be conscious of your being in the present.

Nací en Argentina, en una pequeña y hermosa ciudad rodeada de sierras llamada Tandil. Comencé a practicar danza contemporánea cuando tenía 4 años y seguí bailando hasta los 17. Gracias a eso, vivo la vida como una danza en la que siento que fluyo, pero también entiendo los puntos de apoyo que mantienen mi cuerpo arraigado.

Después de terminar la escuela secundaria, me mudé a la capital (Buenos Aires) para estudiar Comunicación Social. Mientras estudiaba, comencé a tomar clases de circo y diferentes tipos de bailes (danza africana, clásica y contemporánea), disciplinas que me dieron conocimiento del cuerpo y que me brindaron herramientas para llevar una vida saludable. En 2011 me di cuenta de que mi pasión es enseñar y compartir experiencias y conocimientos a las personas. Así que empecé a enseñar acrobacia en tela, trapecio y aro en diferentes escuelas para niños y adultos.

En 2012, estudié terapia de masaje y reflexología y en 2015 obtuve el título de Instructor de Yoga Integral en la Escuela Internacional de Yoga Integral. Además, a lo largo de esos años tomé diferentes tipos de cursos como biomecánica orientada al yoga, estiramientos para bailarines, canto hindú, percusión, Reiki.

Desde principios de 2015 comencé a estudiar Sensibilización Sonora , una técnica desarrollada por Silvina Mazzola en la que estudiamos y aplicamos las propiedades del sonido en el cuerpo humano para tratar los desequilibrios corporales y mentales y los bloqueos energéticos.

Hoy en día combino todas las disciplinas que aprendí (y que sigo aprendiendo y explorando) en mis clases. Mi motor es ejercitar la mente y el cuerpo para experimentar la naturaleza del ser. Cuando la mente y el cuerpo están sincronizados, se puede experimentar el equilibrio en la vida diaria, pero es algo que debe ejercitarse. Por lo tanto, puedes aprender y experimentar diferentes disciplinas y métodos, pero no hay ningún ingrediente secreto como el ser consciente de tu ser en el presente.
